Experia xa2 wont power up or charge
Hi @Spongbob1115, let me see if I can help out here!
Have you tried forcing the device the device to restart or charging the device with different chargers? A forced restart is done by pressing and holding the power key and the volume up-key simultaneously.
Also, try charging the device for at least 30 minutes. If the battery is drained, it may take up to 30 minutes for your device to respond to the charging. During this time, the screen may remain completely dark, not showing the charging icon. Also note that it can take up to 4 hours for a completely drained battery to charge fully.
Another thing to keep in mind is to make sure that you are using an original Sony charger and USB cable specifically intended for charging your device. Other chargers may be too weak or too strong as they may have a different electric current rating (mA). It is recommended that you use a charger that is plugged into a wall socket instead of using a computer (and USB cable) to charge your device.
Also, try to ensure that the USB port is completely dry, and gently remove any lint or dust using, for example, a wooden or plastic toothpick.
If none of these measures manages to power on the device and improve the charging, I am afraid that the only thing left to do is to get in contact with your local support team in order to have your phone sent to an authorized service center to be examined and possibly repaired. If you have any questions regarding the service such as routines, warranty and consumer laws, these kind of questions are best answered by your local support team as well.
Let me know how it goes!
