I'm sorry to tell you this but you can't restore them.

If you have a backup of the photos, you can restore them from backup. If not, maybe you can try Bitwar data recovery or other recovery programs to retrieve the photos.

You have a choice to have your photos uploaded to the cloud automatically as well.
