Hi, i have a 3 year old xperia xa ultra and it still works fantastic. Yesterday i charged it and took a quick nap it did not have any problems. It was turned on and i can still access everything. It was in this condition when I left it to charge. When i woke up from my nap though, its stuck in the sony logo.
I searched for answers here in the forum and found out about xperia companion. I installed it immediately and did the software repair process. Everything i followed correctly. Xperia companion did not have the errors other people were talking about. It even gave me a notice that the repair was complete and i should just dc the xa ultra from my computer and start it up.
X companion said that the 1st start up will be longwr than the usual start up. But it has been about an hour and the screen is still in the aony logo. I think the software repair didn't work. Is there anything else i can do to fix this? Thank you for any answers you may give.
Try to see if there new update availlable may be it solve the problem
If not try to use sony flash tool and be sure you download the right firmware for your device (do this in your own responsibility i prefer to go an expert)
Just do the software repair again.
