SmartConnect fails to initialize MN2 SmartWatch

I purchased a MN2 smartwatch on ebay for 25€. Then I tried to run it with one of my Xperia phones. The smartwatch itself seems to work as specified. Pairing per bluetooth works. After pairing, SmartConnect tries to install the "smartwatch host app" from Google PlayStore, but PlayStore says no. This app is not available on Playstore.

Please fix this immediately.

First possibility: Fix SmartConnect so it refers to the correct location in Google PlayStore.

Second possibility: Place "smartwatch host app" in Google PlayStore at the location where SmartConnect refers to.

By the Way: I own a Glashütte Spezimatic. This Glashütte Spezimatic was sold in 1975 in German Democratic Republic, and this watch is still operable, and service is still fully available.

- If I go to the Smart watch option [within LiveWare] & clicks on it

- It takes me to a page where it say

  Smart Watch Host App

    - tap to Install

On Tapping it Says "Item Not Found"  [Retry]

Retry doesnt work either

Due to this I cannot set my time on Sony Smart Watch 1.. Please help

I'm experiencing the same problem. Is SONY still binded by contract to provide support for the SMW2 ?

If yes i'd like an answer, the sooner the better.

Hi I have just bought a MN2 smartwatch off ebay. It pairs no problem to my XZ2 but when the link takes me to play store to download the host app, it says app not found. My watch will not sync at all with my phone. Please can someone tell me how to download it, otherwise I have wasted my money. Surely ebay shouldn't sell MN2 watches if unable to use them? Please help, panicing now.

I have the same problem and would love to hear Sony's official reply. Why is the host app no longer avalaible? This is absoulutely ridiculous. Dae dfwe
