VOLTE?

Does the XA support VOLTE? The whitepaper on Sony Mobile's site states that the device does. But I am on T-Mobile US network and calls drop to UMTS/HSPA(3G). Sony support says the device does support VOLTE and I need to talk to carrier. Carrier says if the device supports VOLTE it should work. Nobody is giving good support. Does anyone know?

Airtel ind is also launching the VoLTE and for that reason i have to change my phone (XA U) which is just 3 months old, seems like i wasted my Rs 30,000 🙁. I will never buy Sony again.

No, they are not going to give you the VoLTE, because SONY thinks it might affect the sales of XA1 and XA1 Ultra.

Sony, you are such a shame! 

Have been using sony since p990 days and was always proud to be ahead of tech curve with sony. 

Unfortunately volte support and comments by your staff on it is a disgrace and am never going to buy sony again.

Sony support says volte updating process is only done by network Carriers. Network operators like jio customer care team says it is responsible by device manufacturers problem.

Finally the device owners are fooled and loss the money with both of them.

When Volte update  will be available for xperia XA ultra? We are facing lots of problems in calling without this feature.

There are no plans from sony to bring VoLTE, you need to buy a different phone (brand).
