Android 4.2.2 update unstable

Hi, I just updated my C2105 Xperia to the new Android version 4.2.2, and it's really unstable. It just crashes and then reboots when I try to put in the security pattern or do various other basic things. And also when the phone rings! It also loses info, so for example when the phone rings and it crashes, there's no record of who called.

What can I do, please?

I suggest that you to run your phone in safe mode for a while to check if you still experience this. If not this may be caused by any downloaded application.
How to boot into safe mode?

If not caused by any downloaded application I suggest that you try to reinstall the phone software using Update Service..

Before reinstalling your device you may want to backup your information first. Check out this topic for more information on how to.
How to backup?

But do test your phone for a while without restoring any backup to check if it works OK and to rule out that this is not caused by any information/data included in your backup.

Thanks for that. I reset it into Safe mode and the problem seems to have gone away!

So - it must be caused by a downloaded application.

What do I do next? Presumably if I go out of Safe mode the problem will come back...

try to remember this proplem happened after what app you installed ..if you didnt remeber do a factory reset but take a abckup frst because all things will be gone
