I listen to my music through my phone in my car via bluetooth to my after market stereo. This is a very standard setup, and has worked well for me for a long time and accross several phones over the years.
Before marshmallow everything is working.
Since the update: evey time (EVERY TIME) i get into my car i have to turn off the phones bluetooth then wait (which often takes a long time for it to realise i've re-enabled it), then turn it back on.
Full description of problem:
Please keep in mind, the ONLY thing that has changed is the Z3.
I am using an after market car stereo (shouldn't matter)
I am using an after market music app - PowerAmp (shouldn't matter)
My question is: When are you going to fix this?
Or do we have to wait another 6 months for the next update like we did with that other stupid [make notification sound on signal loss/gain] "feature"? (thank god thats finally fixed!)
Side note:
I see alot of people coplaining about other aspects of bluetooth being broken (such as phone calls). When it's connected, it seems to work fine (audio playback at least) although saying that, I've not recived any calls while driving since the update...whos to say if its broken or i'm just not that popular lately lol.
P.s. Not related to this question at all but: hitting the [END] key in this editor opens a product finder...incredibly anoying to those of us who use it for its propper use.
Someone else has this problem so they will fix it soon, hopefully

Perhaps you need to update software on stereo to accommodate the marshmallow update on your phone?
A nice thought, but i'm not using an android stereo or anything like that. Worked day 1 out of the box, didnt have to (or even know you could) update these kinds of stereos. It just uses bluetooth.
Never had to update it to accomadate Android 5.0 when that came out (was on a samsung back then).
Even so, it would seem a bit daft if i had to go round and updated every other device in my life that connects to the phone (via bluetooth) just becauase of a new Phone OS version.
Edit: i say "daft" i mean "completely unreasonable".
