Sony Xperia M ringer sound reduced

Dear Sir

I upgraded my Xperia M to a new firmware 15.1.C.1.17 after doing so I found that the ringer volume has gone very low previously I used to keep at 50% level but now I have to keep at 90% level to hear what I was hearing previously.

Can I roll back to my previous version 15.1.A.1.9 firmware or will there be correction done in future for the volume leve.

suggest you dont roll back. You will lose the positives of the new update. the sound output steps have been recaliberated and badly so in this update. But final output is the same i feel. Expect it will be rectified in forthcoming updates.

Hope so Basant it will be taken care in the next update I didnt understand about your saying as final output you mean the extreme high end of the volume sound output is the same as before update of the firmware I dont think so according to me the extreme end sound output has also being reduced a bit  compared to the older version because I went and compared it going to the sony showroom were the older version unit was kept on display.

You may be right leon, i found that after update right to almost full volume the sound output was much much weaker than prior to the update. However upon using full volume, i found an appreciable increase over the immediate previous step. Maybe that led me to mistakenly believe that the output at  full volume was just as before since in the intermittent volume steps the reduction in sound output is truly drastic.

Hi,

I updated to the latest version - 15.1.C.2.8 yesterday and the volume of all applcations have become so feeble. Though with full volume, the ring tome is hardly audible.

Is there a way to correct it? Not enjoying this!!!
