Sony Xperia Z5 Premium Video app problems Android 6.0

Hi, i have a Sony Xperia Z5 Premium after the upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallows the Video application does not play some videos if it was in android 5.0. One video in particular is in .ts extension 4K codec HEVC of 1,24Gb and 3.54 min duration which can be downloaded at this link: http://4ksamples.com/barcelona-vs-atletico-madrid-4k -football-sample-footage / it is a 4K UHD video where you can appreciate the high quality of the Premium Z5 screen in android 6.0 I have to fastidiously to the MX Player application to play the video correctly. Android 5.0 Lollipop is perfectly reproduced with the native application Video. I think after the last update of the app or Android are not supported some video codecs especially HECV H.265. I hope my small contribution will be forwarded to the appropriate department and serve to enhance the application and thus not having to fastidiously to other applications to take advantage of the Premium Xperia Z5.

I am very thankfull for your help. It is very strange, not allowed to see any videos downloaded to 4K. Videos can have any extension: .mp4, .ts .mpge all have HEVC codec and not played since upgrading to Android 6.0

indeed it's odd, I had couple of 4K videos before the update and they still work but not new videos, I hope we get feedback on this soon .

Yes, I hope soon this problem is solved, or an update of the app Video improving it with codecs or a new operating system upgrade. It's ironic that a smartphone with 4K screen can't play videos in that format after a big and awaited update like Android 6.0 Marshmallows. Thank you for your collaboration.

You might experience that certain HEVC 4K video content can no longer be played back on the Xperia™ Z5 Premium after the update to Android™ 6.0. HEVC 4K content is supported for videos with up to 30 frames per second (fps). Before the update, this limit was not checked correctly by the HEVC decoder, and videos with 50 fps could be played back incorrectly by dropping frames and not reaching 50 fps. After the update to Android™ 6.0, the HEVC decoder strictly limits playback to videos with up to 30 fps. Videos above this limit cannot be played back.
