USB connection is not restricted

Dear Friend,

I Had updated Xperia U with Sony auto-update (PC companion).

After that my cell phone become slow even after reset. More important is the issue with usb synchronization.

My device is connecting to all computers without permission for usb synchronization. I want it secured, please help me how it can be solved.

Also how can I hide my folders within my cell phone from unauthorized access? Is there any app for it by sony?

To protect the data in your phone you can go to Settings -> Security and change the screen lock  to a pattern lock, PIN or password. To access the phone you then need to unlock the screen.

I'm not aware of any app that allows you to hide certain folders only when using USB.

Regarding performance, Android 4.0 has more advanced hardware requirements and this may affect the performance. You can find more information and tips about this by searching the forum for "performance".

My cell phone screen is proteced with pattern.

Problem is When I connect phone to computer it does not require any synchronization approval. It just synchronize as plug and play device.

Please resolve it.

The computer will detect the phone when you connect it but you will not be able to see or access the files in it until you unlock the pattern lock on the phone. This means that a person who doesn't have your pattern lock will not be able to access your phone using USB.
