No more full stop between words?

Everytime I accept a word suggestion on the keyboard, the full stop is automatically highlighted. Any way to stop this? Thanks!

can you elaborate on "the full stop" ?

I mean the dot at the end of a sentence. It's selected every time you press on a suggested word, so if I press space, it types a dot.

yeah that's gone now you have to press space twice to get a period
