Well, that's exactly what Smart Lock should be doing:
It keeps your phone unlocked when you are...
- in a trusted location
- connected to one of your bluetooth-devices
- carrying the phone in your pocket
...so you don't need to unlock it with your fingerprint all the time.
You can change this behaviour in the Smart Lock settings.
