APS-C/Super 35mm?

Guys in the Sony A7S2 menu there is an option for this to be auto, on or off, if I am using full frame lenses I can have this off, correct? Or best just to leave on auto? Thanks for any help?

Hi,

If you’re only using full frame lenses the setting can be set to OFF. If you set it to Auto, the camera will automatically detect the range depending on the lens. It really only makes a difference if you would use an APS-C size lens and have the setting set to OFF. This could cause a conflict, and the camera may not be able to capture any pictures. Subsequently if you’re using a full frame lens, but have the APC-S setting set to ON, the edges of the picture will be darkened (like a vignetting effect).
