I recently purchased a Sony a6400 camera (ILCE-6400AK) which I believe is eligible for a free +1 year extended warranty. I registered the purchase but have not received an email informing me of the activation code.
I have searched the Sony site to no avail. Can anybody suggest a way forward?

I am glad to hear that you have now resolved your warranty problem. I too have now solved mine.
I think that the solution is to be polite, persistent and patient. I had to provide a copy of my purchase invoice and photos showing the model and serial number labels on the camera body and the lens. For good measure, I also included a photo of the serial number and bar-code label on the box. They still muddled it up for a second time, but my warranty contract document finally did arrive this morning.

I telephoned the Sony support number in the UK and they are now trying to sort out the problem for me. So far, the process has been slow but my support request has been handled by the same person each time and they have kept in regular touch with me by email. No solution yet, but good quality customer support.
Hy, i resolved the problem, finaly through sony assistance. I asked AI help operator assistance and after check operations finaly made it.
