Sony a6700 issues with sigma 56

Does anyone have issues with the combo a6700+Sigma 56 f1.4?
While taking pictures, randomly freezes, the screen goes black and it takes around 5-10 seconds to recover…the autofocus is not working as soon as it recovers..it takes also some seconds to be functional?! Could you please advise? Is it a firmware issue or a camera/lens issue?

I have the latest firmware for the camera, as well for the lenses but the problem is still there. Please advise

You should contact Sigma support and tell them the issue.

They have to update their lenses firmware

Samyang is going to release a firmware update for AF compatibility with 6700. Maybe that the same will come from sigma.

I have the same issue with both Sigma 56 and 16 mm
