43XD8099 IR Blaster problems!
Hi,
I've just purchased a 43XD8099 and tried to set the IR Blaster up to work with my Sky+ HD box. However, when I press a directional button or a colour button, it sends three signals (scrolls three channels up/down etc).
I've tried a factory reset and I've had no joy, and I have the latest firmware installed. Any suggestions for how to proceed?
Thanks!
Joe

Hi there
This issue sounds familiar. Can you please reply back with the firmware version that is currently installed on your TV?

Hi both
I have reported this to Sony, as from the description it appears that an old bug that was previously resolved has been re-introduced in the marshmallow update that was released on the 27th September.

Hi,
All firmware is up to date, and I've done factory resets as recommened by this post. I've been in email communication with customer support who have sent a replacement IR blaster but that hasnt solved the issue - I'm guessing its the same firmware problem as before and just needs updating?
Thanks!

Hi,
to update this thread, Sony have sent an engineer out who has replaced the mother board and rebuilt the TV. Problem still persists, it will be logged by the engineers and sent to Sony. Highly frustrating!
