BBC Iplayer

Hello All,

I am having issues with the app BBC Iplayer

when it eventually loads, & I start watching anything on iplayer, its frequently buffering.

Yet the TV is hard wired with Cat 6 ethernet and has a fast connection (I think the ethernet socket has a max speed of 100 MBPS) Any other Internet based apps ie netflix, amazon Tv, etc etc all work fine with no buffering.

So the problem seems isolated to BBC Iplayer. I'd like to uninstall it, then reinstall it, but I dont seem to have the option to do that.

Hi Dave, is your TV on the latest software version? you can check the current software version on it by going in to the help menu through the help button on the remote.

Also have you tried testing this on a completely different network? as in your mobile hotspot for example.
