KD-43X8305C shut off HDMI in standby

As this TV is anoying slow and the functionality of the twin receiver is not more than a bad joke, I spend even more money and bought a VU+ receiver. Watching TV is now fast and comfortable, as I expected it from my new Sony, but hearing radio is not possible. The reason is that there are short tone drops, when the Sony is in standby. If I disconnected the HDMI cable, cut the power supply from the TV, or switch the TV on (independent from the source) the drops disappear.

Is there a way to deactivate the HDMI in standby or do anybody know a trick how to avoid this behaviour?

I’m close to throw this anoying pice of technique in the trash bin and buy a new TV, even it’s just one year old.

Regards

Hi @GeraBer and welcome to the community,

I'm just looking into this and will come back to you shortly (unless another member of the community can help you in the mean time of course).

Cheers,

C

Hi again @GeraBer - I checked this for you and could not find another solution I'm afraid.
