KD-55XG8096 - Android 9 Update

Hello all,

Why my TV KD-55XG8096 is not in the list of aplicable devices for the update of Android 9? It's a 2019 model?

If I don't get the update, it will be my last Sony TV in my life!

The 4K playback is awful, the DTS-HD 7.1 sound doesn't work from time to time to my receiver, which is Sony as well.

Are you serious? What do you expect from android 9 on your tv? What does it means 4k is awful? Your tv displays 3840x2160 pixels as any other 4k tv and no tv without earc is capable of sending any lossless track to any receiver . If you were expecting top of line performance you should have bought a top of the line 4k tv not the entry level
