sorry been meaning to update this for a while, i pressed (Accept as solution) in part one by mistake see above, the real solution was to get a new mainboard plus lots other bits on invoice, luckily this was still under warranty, and cost more than half what i originally paid for tv, tv still under warranty hope it doesn't just do it again, hope this helps anyone in same situation
