Streaming Audio not working
DirectTV primary, netflix and amazon prime audio works
After some automatic upgrade, amazon prime, disney+ and hbomax streaming no longer with audio but with video. The video on Disney + also skips
I have download speeds up to 80mbps.
Please help. About to toss this SONY 85 into the trash.

I lost sound on some apps after software upgrade. I switched off TV with remote and then unplugged it from the mains for ten minutes. Plugged back in and switched on with remote. Sound returned on apps and so far so good. I think this procedure has worked for some others on this forum. Hope it works for you.

I understand your frustration, what's the model we're talking about here? The power cycle might be useful actually, also updating the apps from the Play Store.

I got it to work for a few days by unplugging, restarting tv on with tv speakers and then plugging the sonos optical input while playing.
Worked for a few days than ***** all of a sudden stopped working while watching Disney +. The sound is on Dolby, turned off Dolby plus.
Bugs in software.
Automatic updates. Everything up to date

I think XBR is for USA models, so the settings may be different as I only know about UK/European models.
Try clearing the cached data (Settings - Device Preferences - Storage - Internal Shared Storage - Cached data) and hold the power button for a restart and see if that solves it.
