switch off problem

Don’t know if it’s a fault or just normal for this model but my  fx100 v6 seems extra slow in shutting down after pressing the off button.anyone else experiencing the same?

Hi the model is DSC-RX100V6

and it’s not so much a problem but more of an irritation at the slower shutdown .

Hi charioteer1,

Welcome to our community!

I haven't came across any reported regarding slow shut down on this model before. Could you more specific on how slow it is as in how many seconds does it take? Also, is it slow when switching it on or not?

Regards,

Hi, switching on is instant but it takes 5 or 6 seconds for the lens to retract on shutdown. I know that's not that long but I didn't noticeit taking that long with my previous 2 models (the 3 and 5 editions).

Hi charioteer1,

Could you try to take the SD card out then try to reset it by following these instructions? Let us know if this made any difference?
