Files Multiply in Album and Movies application

Hello,

I get the same videos and Images multiplied in Album and Movies application. The same image/video is displayed 4 times.

Any idea??

If you connect the phone to your computer, does it show 4 copies of the same picture or just one?

If its just one copy of each photo/video:

Clear data for the album-app under settings > apps > all > album.

This will not delete anything, but it will take some time before the thumbnails to be re-created so just be patient and give it some time to reload.

In my system it shows just one copy, but in album/videos it shows 4 copies.

Also I tried clearing the data under settings > apps > all > album.

But it didn't took much time to reload or something. I also tried clearing the Cache. I tried rebooting the phone several times too. But the issue still persist. . Any other Idea??

The files are stored on the memory card, right? If so, try moving them all to your computer and format the memory card, and then move them back again.

If the problem still persists, you should try repairing the phone software via PC Companion.
