hi everyone
i have a PRS-600 reader, which is fine but when i download my e-books i dont seem to get any pictures that are in the hardback/paperback versions,as i read football books a lot i am missing out on the pics, the only pictures i get are the front cover,is this the norm on this e-reader or am i doing something wrong or,is it time to upgrade ?any suggestions welcome, thanks
Only just picked this up - and, sorry, but no great help......
I've no experience of the 600 series/generation readers - love to say I'm too young, but sadly just didn't get into ereading 'till the 3/650's.
However, it's still going, which says summat for the build qualities !
But basically, if you download a digital version of a p-book, you get what the"formatter" has given you - the version he/she has produced, in other words.
So if they either can't produce the pictures, or don't feel they're important, you get none ! Some digital versions ( a lot of those from Gutenberg, for example,) are simply photographed copies of the original, page by page - so you get any pics that are in the original.
Bit more complicated than that, but that's the gist.....
Anyway, hope it doesn't spoil things too much.
