Is wifi calling available for this handset? My carrier, EE, supports it but I can't see how to set it up.

Anybody know?

You can follow the below steps (depending on software version steps are slightly different) in order to enable Wi-Fi Calling on your handset:

Android 8.0

To enable Wi-Fi Calling

1. Find and tap Phone.
2. Tap the menu button (three vertical dots) > Settings > Calls > Wi-Fi Calling. If Wi-Fi Calling isn't available, contact your network operator.
3. Tap the switch beside Off to enable Wi-Fi Calling.

Android 6.0, 7.0, 7.1 or 7.1.1 To enable Wi-Fi Calling

1. From your Home screen, tap the Application screen icon.
2. Find and tap Settings > More > Wi-Fi Calling. If Wi-Fi Calling isn't available, contact your network operator.
3. Tap the switch beside Off to enable Wi-Fi Calling.
