application not found

This is the third time I have had to factory reset my phone because for whatever reason my phone will randomly shut down and when it boots back up most of the applications are a blue grid. When clicked they say application not found.
Now I just got this phone a couple months ago so as you can imagine this is pretty frustrating.

I'm not sure what I can do to fix this problem.
Thank you for your help

You don't have to reset the phone to get rid of the blue app icons, simply re-download the apps then move them to the sd card, then the blue app icon will be replaced by the actual icon.

The problem is not the phone restarting, whenever you unmout or remove the SD card any app that was moved to the SD card will be corrupted.

The problem might be a faulty SD card.

Possible solution will be to reformat the SD card. And if you experience the same issue, then you need a new SD card.

Phy is correct here, to remove the blue icons you just need to clear data for xperia home under settings-apps-all.
