Sony Xperia M4 Aqua / New To Me Phone.. Looking for Link to Reject A Call / Block Phone Number ?? Help Appreciated, Cheers Thanks...
Solved! Go to Solution.
You can only save the contact and direct all calls to voicemail or use a 3rd party app for not saved numbers. This has been asked a lot:

Good night there,
I have some questions about managing contacts in the M4 Aqua, I could not find answers in the user manual, hope you can help me. In the first place, is there any way of blocking a contact? I was able to do that with my previous phone and it is especially useful for blocking advertisement calls, or telephone numbers that send adds via sms. I cannot find a way of blocking a contact or reporting it as spam in the contacts' list. Is this possible?
The other issue is if it is feasible to transfer individual contacts to the external memory (microSD), avoiding the massive exportation. I chose not to sync contacts with gmail because it is a mess, it gets millions of contacts which are unnecessary for me, the only account to sync is WhatsApp.
When I started my phone just put the micro SD card with a file .vcf in it, but never exported the file manually to the device, so I think the phone did it autmatically or is just using them directly from the micro SD card.
But if I want to add a new contact it only allows the option of storing it only in the device, not backup. Is it possible to export just one new contact from the device to the micro SD in order to get the vcf file updated? or just have to export them in a massive way? My concern is that I am afraid that this will duplicate the information and that is not a good idea. It has already happened to me with my previous device and then the only solution is deleting the duplicates manually, which takes too much time.... Could someone please help me? Thanks a lot, regards from Buenos Aires,
Hi @EstelaXM4,
It is not possible to block a contact directly from the phone in the default system. You can however, divert calls from a contact to voice mail. To do this, first save the contact, then edit it. Press the options button (3 dots) and tick the box "All calls to voicemail".
You can not back up a single contact to a .vcf, but you can share contacts 1 by one in email, text etc by using the share feature.
