Cannot connect sony m4 to usb

Cannot connect sony m4 to usb mass storage 16 gb device via cable with mini usb and female usb, the phone doesnt reads at all the usb. Solutions ?

The Xperia M4 doesn't support USB OTG

Hi ,

After updating to marshmallow my Xperia m4 aqua has an option to detect usb devices, but when i connect a pendrive to my device but it does not detect anything.

I am not sure how to use this feature please suggest.
