I feel the max volume of my phone (Sony M4 Aqua Dual) is too low for use as a speakerphone in a car. But I do not want to get a full Bluetooth device, I'd rather just get a simple speaker.
However, it seems that when I attach a speaker jack, the internal mic is disabled too.
Is there a way to have the phone use the internal microphone with an external speaker?
Hi @ramendik
Can you try to attach a speaker running your device into safe mode an check if the internal mic works:

Best Regards,
It turned out that the problem was with the connector I checked it with. With a different connector, the phone detects the speaker as "headphones" and keeps the mic on.
