@Good9 You can either remove the microSD and insert it again, see if it recognised. Or try to format it using a computer and a card reader.

Hello @Good9 and welcome to the forum!
Sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your SD-card.
As @alexdon mentioned, try removing your SD-card and inserting it again. I would recommend that you insert the SD-card while the phone is powered off.
Should the above not help, as mentioned by our good moderator, formatting the SD-card would be my next suggestion as well. I would also suggest that, if you are able, try to insert your SD-card in another device to see if that device recognizes your SD-card.
Let me know how it goes!

Hi again @Good9,
I understand. The way that you are describing this makes it sound like it is related to hardware rather than software. If that is the case I would advise you to contact your Local support in order to get information on how to send your phone to be examined by one of our authorized service centres.
However, to completely rule out this being related to software or not I would recommend that you start by performing a software repair using Xperia Companion before sending it in. Do not that this will reset your phone and you should make a backup using Xperia Companion first.
Keep me updated on how it goes!

When you start a software repair in Xperia Companion you will encounter a message saying you need access to your Google credentials. You do not need to enter these in Xperia Companion but are instead meant for the phone. The Xperia M4 Aqua has a preinstalled theft protection called My Xperia Theft Protection (MXTP) which is connected to your Google account.
Performing a software repair will trigger MXTP and you will need to verify your Google account when starting the phone afterwards.
In short, you do not need to enter your Google credentials in Xperia Companion.
Let me know if this helped or if there's something else!
