M4 Aqua Battery issue?

I was just charging my phone watching videos on youtube like usual (it ws on 85%) and suddenly my phone cuts out. I've tried turning it back on and keeping it on charge and holding power + up/down on volume but nothing is working.

Does anyone know what the problem is or how to fix it? 

If it needs to be taken into a Sony store does anyone know the cost it may be? Thanks.

Connect the phone to a wall charger > press and hold power & volume up for 10 seconds > let it charge for 2-3 hours and report back.
