M4 Aqua Updated, Repeatedly Restarts, repaired, repeatedly restarts

Installed the Xperia Companion. Updated phone from Android 5.0 to 6.0 after deleting a lot of apps. Phone repeatedly restarted, so following instructions I repaired the phone and then installed my backup.

This evening it crashed and I had to repair it again. Repeatedly restarts unless you put it on charge.

Is this what we have to look forward to with Android 6.0?

Also, how do I get rid of a lot of the apps I never use like the Playstation one and Google Video etc? I only want to do usual browsing, Facebook, Whatsapp, Twitter, Gmail, camera, phone, messages.

Repair the phone and do NOT restore anything for few hours, if you don't encounter the same issue then it's an app acting up

As for the preloaded apps, you have an Android phone, which means, Google apps will be preloaded, you have a SONY phone which means some Sony apps will be preloaded, with that said.

Sony has the least bloatware than other OEMs (non-pixel/nexus devices)

I've repaired the phone, left it on charge due to the repeated restarts draining the battery. Not able to turn it on to anything useful - all I get is the initial 'SONY' screen  - don't even get as far as the 'powered by android' screen. Off to the repair shop tomorrow then.

After a year using the Xperia M4 aqua, I was taking a photo then the screen went blank and then after 10min it switched on itself. It displayed the Sony logo and switched off again and did this till the battery died and switched off completely. Then I charged it till full then tried to switch it back on but still the same, wouldn't start up. And I noticed that the Bluetooth doesn't work now.

Settings > about phone > diagnostics > test > test WiFi and Bluetooth

Thought I'd let you know how I got on. My phone company, Vodafone UK, said they didn't have the spare parts due to a backlog and gave me a new phone. Unfortunately it's another M4 Aqua, but you can't have everything and at least this one has Android 6.
