My gold-colored Sony Xperia M5 won't start and it just restarts on a loop for hours on end.
What haver I done so far:
1. I tried the Sony PC Companion but it won't detect my phone.
2. I tried the Recovery Mode and reset factory but it still goes back to the restart loop.
What can I do?
Preform a software repair using PC Companion using PCC, you should do it while mobile is turned off (click the blue link for a detailed guide). You can force shut down by pressing the small yellow button under SIM flap.
I bought Xperia M5 yesterday and updated last firmware. When i updating installed apps, phone didnt response and restarted. I saw same problem. Phone looping restart, 1st boot logo, 2nd boot logo sometimes i see updating app x of xxx but don't open looping again. After the 15-20 restarts one time phone opened. I tried restart phone directly but looping started again. I waited battery's finish and tried charge again. There is a only red notification light no charging notification on screen or something. I waited about 1 hours for charge but didnt change anything. I tried force shut down by pressing button under SIM/MicroSD flap. And i saw charging notification on screen. I waited for charging %100 and tried start phone but still phone stuck on boot logo.
I'm reading a lots of Xperia M5 bugs in Turkey. Suddenly random restarts, anormally becoming hot, camera problems, battery drains etc. But Sony won't release any information for their customers. I want to know when this painly problems over. What is this problems? Hardware or software? Is Sony's test enough for releasing a new phone? I want to solution. I want to know. I don't want to wait for technical service's replies.
