MAP (message access profile)

Does the M4 support MAP and if not is there a way adding the profile etc.?

Welcome to the community!

Based on the information available in the white paper for Xperia M4 Aqua, MAP is not supported.

As far as I know it is not possible to add this profile manually.

Many thanks - I thought that was the case - Very disappointed with the M4 but locked into a 24 month contract.

I believe it does have MAP.

It will show text messages on my car, Ford Sync. It can display the text message or read it out.

I can confirm that Xperia M4 Aqua doesn't support MAP. If a device supports MAP it will be mentioned in the device's white paper.
