Hi guys
Just to start off, this is my 3rd M4 Aqua in less than 14 months due to them being faulty. This problem is something unique and something I have not seen on the previous two phones.
The issue seems to be with accessing the media on my phone. I have Marshmellow on ( came preinstalled with this latest device, its about a month old) I also have a 16gb class 10 Samsung micro sd card installed.
When using the built in ablum app, I only view half the pictures from my sd card and most of my pictures from internal storage. The majority of the pictures just come up as grey squares.
The built in music app cannot find any music, on the phone or on the sd card.
When trying to send a picture over whatsapp, Whatsapp crashed and freezes my phone. This happens when you try share from library or browse pictures through whatsapp.
I am unable to assign ring tones and assigning wallpapers also causes a crash.
The interesting part is that I am able to view and play my music through file comander and vlc. There is no issues with accessing my media from these two apps.
So in short my main concern is Whatsapp is un-useable when it comes to sharing content and I would like to be able to assign ring tones and use the built in sony apps.
Since i have had the device I have done a factory reset twice and i think i have formatted the sd card atleast once.
Please help me out with this. Its my 3rd M4 Aqua and really dont want to go back to my retailer as they take ages. The phone is still under warrenty.
