MyExperia with third parity email adress instead of gmail

Hi.

Briefly put - I can log on to Sony's portal, I can use the pay store on my phone.

But I cannot set the MyExperia security feature to work with a third parity email address (which is my logon to Sony).

In my opinion this is a poor design flaw.

Correct me if I am wrong.

Please do not answer to me with "generic" responses, those are not helpful.

Did you even read my post?

I am aware of this fact that Android is developed by google and that and I use my Android sucesfully with gmail, play store and etc.

My problem is with Sony's poor design and their own network and services.

They allow me to (1) choose from log in with facebook, (2) login with gmail or (3) create a brand new account for sony s ecosystem of networks, including xperia mobile, forums, playstation and so on

I created a new account and it works fine, BUT their own software is made so stupid that it does not allow users to change the email, to the one associated with the Sonys newtork.

This means that i now have to start from scratch and Log on to Sonys network using GMAIL, which is stupid.

If this is mandatory, then why did it even let me register with a third parity eemail.

What bugs me is that there is no way to change the email associated with the MyExperia feature. This is poor design.

I hope this makes sense.

I also included a screenshot to show you what i mean.

But the security features depend on permission by Google to access the device through Google services.
You can only do this by using the Google account registered on the device.
