No space for software update on M4 Aqua - Help!

Please can someone help? I have had a notification that I need to update the phone's software, which I tried to do but have no space. Originally it was over 700 megs that I needed. I uninstalled Facebook, Soundhound, Weather, etc, etc - even all my photos, no games, no music, app cleaner and anti virus. I still need 380 megs - but HOW??? I cannot move built in apps to the SD card - whatever can be moved there was moved there and then uninstalled anyway because it still took up space on the internal memory.

Sob! It's so frustrating! What happens if I don't software update? My phone is literally empty. What is the frigging POINT of this phone if you can't even update the software?? And what is the point of having a smartphone with NO APPS on it?

If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it.

Cheers, Ruth

Hi Emir

OK - I tried the manual setup of my phone (after doing the 2nd factory reset) and it was a nightmare!

So (gulp) I reset it AGAIN and am letting Google do it for me.

If I still have that problem I will have to go into my mum's work and use her (up to date) computer.

Thanks so much for your patience and all your advice. You're a star.

Enjoy your day Emir. Sunny but windy here in Cape Town.

I understand your frustration, thanks for being patient with me as well. We will be able to resolve it by the end, I'm sure of it! Slightly_smiling_Face

Sunny but windy? I would totally trade that for what I got here in Sweden! Here's my beautiful view out of the office... I slipped on ice 3 times on my way to work today. Crying_Face

Geez - that's dangerous. You need hiking boots Slightly_smiling_Face

We haven't even started summer yet and already have drought conditions and water restrictions.

I will also be experiencing the wintry conditions soon as I will be movng to Ireland soon - yay!
