Problem with video (frames skipping in darkness)

Hello,

I have Xperia M2 with newest software. I don't usually use the camera, but lately I've started.

Problem is with recording in darker places, it skipps frames.

Below an example to show you what I mean-when it's recording with more light-everything is fine, but going in the dark...

I wrote to Xperia, but found the solution myself!

I just needed to turn off Steadyshot... now video goes smooth as it should.... Slightly_smiling_Face

It didn't help. I did like you asked me to, but it looks the same. In record mode I see the image going ok. It just looks like it doesn't record it as it shoud when things go too dark. It's like 'oh it's dark anyway, noone will notice if I skip a frame or 2'

You could repair the phone with PCC but the problem might be that the camera struggles to switch between bright settings and dark settings with near objects

I'll check today with other M2 with same software if it has the same problem.

I bought mine new and it still has guarantee, so I may be able to leave it to be repaired.

If I record only in darkness, it has the same problem. I noticed the problem that way-I've tried to use the phone as car recorder at night.. and it didn't go as planned Slightly_smiling_Face
