Problem with Xperia M4 Aqua Album & Music Apps

Hi, I got my phone last year and has been working fine, since mid February the album app stop working, I realize this since I couldn't attach any picture to either a normal text message, WhatsApp, or facebook messenger, some days later the music app stop working, and now all of the factory install apps that's related with music and images don't work like google play music, etc, is driving me crazy and apps appear to be updated on 31-12-1969 7:00 PM.

Album app version is 7.4.A.1.22

Music app version is 9.1.4.A.0.3

Android Version 5.0

settings > storage > how much free internal storage do you have?

also, try this, settings > apps > all > look for the apps that are acting up > clear data > restart the phone > report back. 

it won't delete the pictures/videos/music, but it will delete the app data from whatsapp.

Total Space: 16GB

Available: 5.89GB

I clear the data and restarted my phone got a message saying "Android is Upgrading" and still same issue.

could you repair it with PCC?

Now my computer won't show any file on either the internal memory or sd card, the PCC shows everything up to date but also can't access the files.

have you encrypted the phone?

No nothing, to tell you the truth not even the unlocking screen password have I enable yet.

Maybe I'm thinking of doing a factory reset, just hopping I don't loose the information on the SD card, but can't make a backup cause my computer opens the SD card empty, I know the information is there because it shows the card is full and cause I can access it by the file commander app.

Yesterday I decided to do a complete factory reset and that seems to have resolved the problem.

Well I did two factory resets, the first one I didn't wipe the data and that seems to cause a problem and so I did another one this time blanking out everything, good thing I was able to backup most of the stuff on the sd card.

Now for the moment I have updated all the apps except for the album and music apps, I'm updating them later.
