Settings app list drops to bottom

Hi there!
Since about a month, I can't acces to any option on the settings app. This list goes automatically to the bottom of the list, and doesn't matter what I do, won't let me pull the list up. This goes to the submenus lists as well. And it hapoens ONLY on the settings app. I managed to get to the app screen to delete data and cache for the app. Nothing happened. Issue is still there. I'm working full Day so I haven't got the time to reinstall the ROM or make a repair through Sony companion.

Phone info:
Xperia M4 Aqua E2306
ROM Sony stock Android 6.0.1
Compiation 26.3.A.1.33
Is less than a year old.
Hasn't touched water in a looong time.
If it was a screen issue, the problem would happen on all the apps and everytime.
I googled and couldn't find anything. Hope anyone (and Sony) can help.
Thanks.

Hi @francoivan1,

I'm sorry to hear about this, I understand that this must very irritating. Slightly_frowning_Face

Is there any difference if you access Settings menu from the quick settings in your phone? Drag down the status bar with 2 finger and press the little gear icon in the top right corner.

If there is no change, I agree with what @nolramlb recommended, reboot the phone in safe mode, to make sure that this is not caused by a third party application.

Keep us posted! Slightly_smiling_Face

I totally forgot about safe Mode. From the Quick settings i get the same result.

Booted up on safe Mode. Everything is working fine... Now, i'll have to find out what's going on... For anyone Who get to have the same problem, i'll post what it was, so anyone can fix it.

(thinking on deleting all apps... But won't)
Thanks guys!

Back on normal Mode. The issue dissapeared for now.

And remembering what was updated will be difficult. Or pretty simple: EVERYTHING! Jaja. The issue first appeared on late December, early january, so... We'll see.

I'm happy to hear that it's working after rebooting the phone from safe mode! Slightly_smiling_Face

Could have been some bad cache that got deleted and that is what was causing this.

Keep monitoring this and let us know if it happens again!
