Sim card messages to be deleted

I have the Xperia M4 aqua and I get message saying SIM card full erase messages. I followed the instructions as per the response to someone else. But when I get into the messaging settings and go to SIM card, it lists the messages but no option to delete! And I am not getting the voicemail icon now so missed some important Messages!!! What is happening????

That's odd, I know back in the days you could save some messages on the SIM card but not anymore with smartphones, perhaps if you look for an app on the playstore

The only messages it shows is I had voicemail. I delete texts as they come in so it isn't them. I won't be buying another Sony phone when my contract is up.

I'm sorry you feel that way, but this is something that your carrier has to solve.

I have an Xperia Aqua, no longer a Nexus....none of this has been helpful.
