Back at main place, I first reset the wifi link. McAfee found an wifi attack (what I dont understand being at least 200 meter from any other house). tho I accepted to continue the link. Now it's ok here.
And I vow I dont understand what happened last days.
A kind of attack ? An overactive McAfee protection ????
I have another friend place wifi wich as also blocked. I'll check.

Hi @joelenvoyage,

Welcome to the forum!

What exactly is happening when you attempt to connect to a network? Are you receiving any error messages? Can you connect to any other network with your device?

I would suggest that you first try forgetting the networks in your phone followed by connecting to them again.

Hi,
Since a few day, When I'm close to 1 + 1 domestic wifi I used to connect at friends place I get now nothing.
I have looked into the wifi menu, they are present, but no connection, no message and no icon.
I did drop them, then reenregistered them with password, nothing. Tomorrow I may try public wifi...

Hi joelenvoyage,

Can you please boot the device in to safemode and let us know if the issue continue?

Hi,
Right i'm in a coffee shop with secured wifi (password, wpa,) and in normal mode it works. So i'm puzzled.
As i'm travelling, as soon as I get at my friend's place and wifi, i'll tell you more about this

Its possible that Mcafee was blocking the connection and has been doing so for the past few days. It may be worth checking it when you access other Wifi connections.

In Mac affee help they say that they block tge access.
The point is it's a quite minimalist information (when, what,...) in the app and I might have missed it.
How not to do it again. I'll have to ask McAfee
Thanks
