Hello,
My M2 has been playing up lately and last night some apps like Facebook wasn't appearing on my front screen or when I searched for them by name. However when I checked in Apps in the settings, I found they were all installed?
Anyway it started to glitch and in fear of it freezing I iniated a stimulated battery pull like I found on the internet (Holding down the volume and lock button together). It turned off but no Xperia logo appeared as usual and now it won't turn back on what so ever.
I have tried to turn it on normally by holding down the power button and I even tried more battery pulls (like 5) and still it won't respond or turn on. I resorted to using a pen and poking the off button near the sim card to see if that would work but it didnt (I did this very poorly and it was a suggestion by a room mate)
I tried to charge it and connect to my computer via a cable to see if the PC companion could connect to it. The phone doesn't respond and no lights appear.
At this point I need a phone to survive and I don;t care if I lose all my files on my phone as long as it properly functions.
Please I need help desperately and I need it working ASAP due to family commitments and even work.
Thank you for reading and I hope someone can help me!!!

Did you let your battery drain down to 0%? If this is the case, leave the phone on charger for 2-3 hours to give it life again.
No I didn't/ I don't think so. Last time my phone was properly working it had around 25% battery left.
So I should charge even if the light doesn;t appear ? I will try and thank you for replying.
Yes, leave the phone connected to the charger for a longer time. If now the battery would be completely flat (which would be strange since you had 25%) it can take a longer time before the phone indicates charging and/or powers on.
You guys were right in the end! I'm so thankful for your fast response and I have kudos both of you!
Great to hear! :smileysmileythumbsup:
