Xperia M2 Android Update - Contact apps problems

Good morning,

Did yesterday the update to Android 4.4.2 and now cannot reach anymore my contacts so cannot call anybody.

Message I receive is "Apps contact was unfortunatelly stopped".

NIce to have a phone but if you cannot call somebody that's not a phone anymore.

TRied to see if on the Sony PC companion there was a repair apps program but don't see anything.

Who can assist me to recover this module in order to be abble to call once time new?

I am in France and I used the for sure the oficial update from SFR( Vodafone)

Go to settings- apps- all- contacts- clear data- force stop and.then restart your phone...this should fix the problem...

Apps in order now and I recovered my contacts from a back up previously done.

I had the same issue and now fixed thanks to reset.

i update last last day my sony m2. after that. some application lost. like facebook. video converter. and others. now ive tried to install again on playstore. and cant install. my friend try to share her facebook apps. and again it failed to install. pls help me.
