Xperia System Update won't install - Xperia M2 Dual

I got a notifcation of Xperia Sytem Update version 18.3.1.B.1.8

I download it & then install; it does the restart and I see the green droid screen and they after 30% of the progress bar filled it does restart and asks for re-downloading.

It happened 4 times so far!

what's the issue?

  

I am updating directly from the phone.

It worked and now all Apps on SD Card are not showing! Even though I can still them on Settings=> Apps!

You have to re-download the apps

Sir I am using Xperia m2 single sim good working so far and I love Sony products but when will I get software update for this device after lollipop we are waiting for marshmallow update please give us software update as soon as possible.. Thanks for Sony

Actually the solution here worked for me!

You may also want to try to reset the home screen from Settings -> Apps -> All -> Xperia Home -> Clear data -> OK but please note that this will reset your home screen to default settings (widgets, shortcuts).
