Hi, got a sync problem:
My work PC running Outlook is isolated from the internet for security reasons. however i need to sync my RAY with Outlook wrt the calendar, the contacts, and tasks. I am not interested in syncing the work email onto my mobile phone. I cannot use PC Companion as it does it over the internet with google. I need to either sync directly with the outlook server (and we have tried everything with no luck, but without the help of any s/w on the pc itself) or i need to get s/w onto my work PC which will sync outlook with my RAY directly somehow (similar to Microsoft's Activsync or iTunes). I was told that i would have to go buy a program called Android Sync (www.android-sync.com), which from what i can gather does everything (to be proved) but not outlook tasks.
Question: Does anyone have any better ideas as what to do?
Solved! Go to Solution.
I'll second the recommendation for MyPhoneExplorer.
Thanks guys,
i have taken your advice and will be giving some feedback later which will hopefully be saving other SE users a lot of time and trouble. am busy testing Phone Explorer currently. so far looks good. the key was the 'ADB' (Android Debug Bridge) USB drivers! I could not find them for SE but there are links to these drivers for many other phones. They are phone specific so you cannot just use any ADB driver from another phonre. just to save any interested persons a lot of trouble, the SE ADB drivers can be found at the following location: (and are called SO-03C drivers)
