I cannot gain access to the root of my W8 Walkman with Android OS 2.1.

Hi,

I need to gain accesss to the root so that i can use some application instalation that need to customize the system.

For example, if i want to add more fonts to /system/fonts, it won't allow since it's mounted as r/o.

I need it to be mounted as r/w so that i can add by copy/paste the fonts in that folder. But how?

Does this W8 Walkman prohibit user from accessing the root or system file?

Please, help me out.

you need to root your phone using Super One Click

Hi.. i tried to root my ES w8 using superoneclick 2.2 but it always freeze and cant detect my phone. any idea how to solve my problem? thanks.. @Sophron if you may i would like to ask a few steps on how did you root your phone using superoneclick coz i have same unit as yours tnx buddy.
