Bravia KDL-55W802A - Tuners are greyed out during initial setup
Hi!
I got a used Bravia KDL-55W802A and during initial setup I cannot start searching for channels because the buttons are greyed out. Also after setup I cannot start a search on both analogue and digital tuners.
The system does not report any technical issues with the tuner and starts normal.
Any ideas? I could not find any hints in the documentation how the tuners could be disabled.
The system was installed in a company and was only used with a pc connected - so watching TV was not used there.
Best regards, Roman

Check better the TV code in the rear of the set, it may be a business model that doesn't have tuners at all (it should not start with KDL)

Hi!
Checked the TV Code on the rear and it´s definitive KDL-55W802A.
May an activated hotel mode be the reason for this behaviour? I tried to activate and deactivate hotel mode by pressing i+, mute, vol- and power on the remote but nothing happens.

So it's a consumer product, it could also be the hotel mode, but I don't know the actual way to exit it and I don't think is so easy

Have you tried to tune channels outside of the initial setup option?
