Weird popup after latest update
I have 2 Sony TV's (Google TV)
One is XR-55X90J
The other is XR-55A80K
After the latest update I get a popup: "Connected via Ethernet" every time I turn them on. It's very annoying.
Please correct this issue. And no, I have not changed anything in notification or anything else you can think of. There were no popup prior to the update. So this is an update issue, not my settings

You are not alone. It seems to be a known issue with this update.

Hi @emsir64
It started happening just before the update on my two TVs (XR-55A95K & KD-43X89J). I am happy to ignore it, but if it bothers you then report it to Sony. Sony Support the chances are you will be brushed off as others have reported blaming their network.

Hi @emsir64 @salmoliv @newyankee Just checking if you are using the native TV network card or a USB network card? I am using a tp-link ue-300 on both of my TVs (500mbps). Getting the Connected using Ethernet message.

I'm using the Ethernet port at the back of the TV.
I gave up on the message. I've disconnected the cable.
