I want to replace the hard drive of my sony laptop VGN-S5M/S, model PCG-6H2M. I have a new solid state drive that I want to use to replace the old one in the laptop.
I have been able to upgrade the memory, as is it is readily accessible from the bottom, but I was unable to figure out how to access the hard drive.
Does anybody have a service manual or repair guide, or happen to know how to replace the hard drive?

It looks like the whole laptop needs to be disassembled to get at the hard drive.

The keyboard needs to be removed to get at the final screws.

I am sure I have some pictures somewhere but cannot find them at present (following a hard drive failure) I will need to look in backups. Meanwhile, here is a text description which may be useful:-
